SCREWFACE

Ian Bartlett, stage name Screwface. A very versatile artiste who came on the scene in 1991 singing and placing in the top three in various reggae competitions. He entered the Richard Stoute Teen Talent Competition in 1994 and 1995, Recorded his first Soca song in 1996 then had his first hit in 1997 Congaline Festival called MODELLING.

He then went on to win the Barbados youth fest Reggae Competition in 1999 and from 2001 to 2003,

SCREWFACE dominated the charts with hits such as CARNIVAL GAL which made it to the Party Monarch finals placing him in 9th position, 100% AH WINE which was incorporated into the immensely popular jingle by the Barbados Manufacturers Association 100% Bajan Campaign and WHAT’S COOKING respectively.

IAN ‘Screwface’ BARTLETT went off the scenes for a few years and came back with a monster hit named BANANA REPUBLIC in 2016. Keeping consistent with two powerful renditions in 2017 called SOCA FREAK and TAMARIND BALLS, he moved into 2018 with a bashment soca, GET INDERING, and "FARMERMAN".

In 2019 he collaborated with TALLPREE out of Grenada with a Jab Jab single, YAH MUSSE MAD, while showing versatility in 2020 with his first music video to his DanceHall Single, I JUST WISH.

IAN ‘Screwface’ BARTLETT continues to work in studio, where he has now completed two music videos to his new singles, LIFESTORY- (DANCEHALL) and LET ME IN-(SOCA) which was done by the number one SOCA producers, DE RED BOYZ, the first of many more projects for 2021.
