TREMENDOS
Tremendos is a Reggae, Pop musician and songwriter who has been intriguing his audience with his sweet nurturing calm renditions.
His ability to soothe and caress the listener with an enthralling voice has allowed him to cross over into more socially conscious roots reggae, hip-hop fusion, and Pop genres.
This up and coming main stream artist is one to watch. He easily gives off transcending and eclectic vibes with his natural charismatic vocals.
This singer/songwriter has shown proven ability to smoothly cut through other soundswith confidence keeping his liquid funk popping as his signature sound.
Born in San Fernando via Ste Madeleine Village, Trinidad and Tobago, as a youth Tremendos was always exposed to music.
His first encounter was at Pleasantville Senior High where he was a member of the Steel Orchestra under the lead direction ofthe Legendary Late Ken Professor Phillimore and played alongside some of Trinidad and Tobago’s highly respected musicians of today.
Multi-talented he has produced and reproduced Reggae, Soca and Dancehall in which is a natural talent he exemplifies repeatedly and with much admiration from his followers.
He first rose to prominence as lead singer of the bands, Project One and Caribbean Rhythms of Houston Texas, which followed over the next few years with releases under Kingsman Camp Music Group.
His breakout year was in 1993 after he signed with New Style and Priority Records where he collaborated on the label with rap artist Sat-N-Smooth and Gang Society, he debuted on the label and was featured on the hip-hop Album “The Awakening”.
Tremendos later went on to collaborate with artist such as 20 to Life, Kinfolks, and Papa Rue.
According to Tremendos “Music gets into my soul and comforts my enter self. It’s like being in a bubble where things around you become one and with that oneness all things are righteous and true”.
